Linda Eder's cover of "Man of La Mancha" - absolutely incredible! on the plus side, now I wanna go listen to some of these covers/originals I haven't heard before just so I can disagree vehemently. ;)

...so I just re-tried a pint of Guinness..

Hehe... there's a bar around here that does unlimited tap beers from 6pm to 10pm Friday nights for $20... and yes, they have Guinness on tap... :)

Is it bad to eat those biodegradable starch packing pellets?

I'm with Hoober on this one... a dollar is fine for foodstuffs combined in bizarre ways, but you should definitely increase the rates for items of questionable digestability :)

Pavilion 7840 RAM upgrade woes

A friend of mine recently tried to upgrade his Pavilion 7840 from the stock 64MB of ram right up to the max of 512MB, so he bought 2 generic 256MB sticks (PC133 SDRAM, infineon chips) from CompUSA. However, when he puts either/both of the new sticks in the machine, it gives the 1-3-3-1 BIOS...
