Intel 750 NVMe PCI-E or SSD version

I might plan on getting this drive, but for those of you who already own one, a question: - Since the mobo needs to be updated with a BIOS that supports NVMe to use this drive, does that mean you'll only be able to use NVMe drives and not AHCI? I'd like to use the Intel 750 as a boot drive...

So, I contacted AMD & here is their exact response: "I conform you that A6-7400K is having only one memeory controller." Damn, I thought it had dual RAM Channels.
