Poll: Which operating system is best?

Not trying to start a flame-war or anything like that, but I'd like to hear some people's thoughts about the different operating systems out there. (I included Windows 3.x, which isn't really an OS, because some Windows-heads would complain if I left it out.)

OC'ing opportunities on Linux?

Beyond NVClock (www.evil3d.net), are there any programs to aid vidcard overclocking/tweaking on Linux systems? I'd really prefer to stay away from nVidia's products (I'm not saying anything about nVidia itself, but their PCI products stink). I also don't want to have to tinker with the jumper...

Video card decision...

I use a great game called BZFlag -- it gets fairly lame framerates on my i810 (30 fps @ 1024x768x16). I may get into better 3D games once I have the graphics to support them.

Biiiiig problem...

/me slaps himself in the head. OK, I already have a TNT2 (Vanta, though); it doesn't give good framerates at anything over 640x480. I'm also trying to keep my kernel monolithic (to help me stay sane), so I'm not going to consider using nVidia cards; plus, nVidia is a Microsoft-sympathizing...
