Alpha PAL6035 Users with Delta fan - help me out please

Do you guys use a 3 to 4 pin convereter cable? I have mine plugged in the motherboard, and the computer has been recently turning off on its own :(( I wonder if this could be the cause?

I have one, very convenient. I dont know what you mean by noise - mine makes very littel noise when playing anything. Its cheap too, so get one.

how to remove "Restart" from the shut down menu on win98?

what "kinds of trouble" does it give? Does it just not restart, does it freeze, or what? Make sure you have all the updates for your OS by going t o winblows update. Make sure you do not have a virus/trojan - I had one that would not let me restart.

Yeah, the one that gives you 22 is the temperature of your motherboard. The one that gives you 33 is the temeperature of your CPU.

Just use a regular mechanical pencil and you willbe fine. Don't grind it on the processor. What you want is for some graphite to cover the cut pins, so some circuit can go through. If you use a hard pencil, it prorbably wont leave enough graphite, if it is too soft, it will leave to much...
