Disappointed by AMD

I upgraded to the 290 in January (from a 560ti) and I'm very happy with my decision. Anyone 'scared' of spending $500+ on a graphics card (reasonably so!) just simply should not shop for those cards when they are released. After 1-2 years, that performance will be available at the $250-300...
