There really is a lot of fanboyism in here for both the Mac and the PC. I will admit I was an avid PC user for a very long time, and would often partake in the Mac-bashing that would occur. I think it's crappy that people bash OS X and Apple hardware just because they have some strange "hate"...
Looks like you're having fun with the camera, glad to see it! It's been just sitting in a drawer ever since I got my DSLR and it's good to know it went somewhere with someone who can actually enjoy it.

From what I've heard the Macbook doesn't really have a heat problem. The MacBook Pro did have a heat problem, but it was just too hot for some people's taste - the system never actually failed. Reapplication of thermal grease fixed it right up. Of course the case still gets warm, it is afterall...
Well I know many, many people (including some very high-up IT security professionals) that would disagree with you. Make no mistake, I'm not saying the Apple computer is the greatest computer ever to be had, and there are much better machines - but for the price I believe it is one of the best...

Just making a point here, comparing a Dell to an Apple laptop and saying the Dell is better because it's a couple hundred dollars cheaper is just dumb. Also, saying OS X isn't good...
That's a pretty nice laptop. How fast does it run OS X? I'll bet it's nice to have the maker of the operating system control every aspect of the hardware running their software. I also love calling Pakistan whenever I need technicial support or customer service! Go Dell!

1. The apple key is the "command" key and does different things. Apple+W closes a window, Apple+Q quits a program, Apple+M minimizes a program, Apple+H hides a program, etc. You'll see the shortcuts in the context menus.

Why? Not all of them are having such a serious heat issue and if you do get one that's having an issue then Apple will take care of you under warranty. I've seen some pretty shady things on Dell laptops as well...

I used three strobes with an umbrella on each. Two near the camera and one on the side for some extra side lighting. I wanted there to be basically no shadow at all. The photos were for an assignment, so that's why there is no smile present. :)
