Yes, I put the memory in the "white" slots. It appears to be a DOA motherboard. I have already shipped it back to Newegg via RMA.

I went and bought a second PCI E card to check. I got the same error. I pulled all connectors to the MB, pulled the memory out and reinstalled them into the same slots, plugged in just the power switch and got the same errors: When it hangs, it is displaying the error code 2E "Initializes...

If you had a choice - $500?

ATI 5870 - Which One?

All, I have an IC7-G with a Zalman CNPS7000A-Cu HSF on the CPU. The stock Abit Northbridge Fan is dying a not so slow or not so quiet death. I need to replace it, but I need a relatively low profile HSF so that it will sit next to the Zalman. Can someone please recommend a good replacement...
