I emailed Antec and they told me the unit was bad, like most of you said. Thanks for the help. I'm going to go through newegg RMA instead, but from reading the reviews again for this PS, I guess there's a known problem with certain versions of it, and the 8800 GTS (which I have) where the PS...

When I first got my system, for the 2 weeks the system would start, and the PS fan would be at 100% (loud), and then in 1-2 seconds, throttle down, making the PS nice and quiet. Now, for some reason, the system starts with the PS at full fan strength, and stays that way 100% of the time, even...

Should i upgrade my Socket 939 processor?

Hi. I just did, and so far, I was expecting SO much more. I had an Althon FX-55, Ati x800PE, 3 gigs corsair XMS, etc, and the system was DAMN SWEET. I even ran many recent games at 1600x1200 with many options on high, some games with 2-4x AA as well, and still got decent performance...

Hi. Do the G.Skill OC well? Was just looking at these on newegg before I saw this post. I'm also getting a 680i-based board, and will be trying to OC the Q6600 a bit..

You guys rock, thanks for the advice. Yes, I'll definitely be overclocking.. hopefully I'll have more luck with the new system vs. my current one (939 MB, Althon FX-55) - would barely OC at all, even with all high-end parts, etc. Now I just need to decide on the RAM.. well, and case..
