Idiot ram questions

currently im running a socket 939 A64 on my MSI K8N neo2 plat with a gig (2x512) of corsair value ram. anyways, since i like to play BF2 alot i want to upgrade to 2 gigs, but if i use all 4 slots then i get a 2t command rate. also, i remember people having problems on this mobo with 3 sticks...
