Question Need a new AM4 board

That's what I am leaning towards as well... Looks like they just reorganized the BIOS and gave it a face-lift. And it looks like the same RGB Fusion crap software that I am dealing with now. Everytime I boot up or the software starts it completely resets every device on my SATA ports.

I did find an Aorus X570 Master for about $70 more than the CH7 I found which does seem like a good deal.... But it's Gigabyte again. I've read the X570 BIOS is much improved, but I'm still leery. Once bitten twice shy or 3rd time's a charm? :confused:

Yeah their software is terrible, and BIOS is so buggy. My X370 gaming 7 soft bricks itself 3-4 times a week and I have to pull the CMOS battery to get it to boot since going 3rd gen. There’s a bunch of posts around about it early on and their support keeps telling me I need to reinstall Windows...

Question Suspecting 4k video throttling through AT&T DSL

I've noticed the same with PIA speeds depending on the server and time of day. Also depends on the encryption settings / strength you're using as that adds overhead too.

Question Possible New Laptop

I've got a work laptop + Docking station I suppose I could use, but I wouldn't want to deal with swapping cables at my desk. Does G-Sync work well over a KVM? I'm also thinking a whole new build like a R5-3600 and 1660Ti might drop my heat down and still perform well.

Question Suspecting 4k video throttling through AT&T DSL

I've got AT&T Fiber Gig in NC and I get a ton of buffering on YouTube. Videos sometimes take 15s to load, and will fall back to 360p during playback. I am hardwired pulling 900+ on speed tests when this happens. Connecting to VPN everything works great, so I wouldn't doubt AT&T is throttling.

Running Ethernet would be best, but if choosing between MoCA and Powerline - MoCA is a much better option. I've got gig internet and my wifi speed tests fluctuate between 30mbps and 300mbps depending on where I am in the house and I'm using actual EAP225 APs. Wired to the router I pull 950...
