    People are still buying new 4GB cards, there is no reason to believe a properly priced 8GB card wont sell. A sub 150 watt 6 pin 8GB card would sell just fine. Obsolete or not.

    Nah, every place ive ever bought or lived we have just set up utilities on our own. Just call power or water and give our name and start date. This is the first time ever having to fill out any paperwork.
