How to transfer between computers?

I have a labtop and a desktop. Both have networking cards. What kind of software can I use to transfer data from one to the other and can I directly connect the computers with just a ethernet cable? Is there any freeware also that will let me do it?

Slow computer all of a sudden

After I installed my extra hardrive it seems my computer has been much slower. Accessing the C: and the D: drive is very lagged. I initially had my master drive and slave drive running on the same cable. I then used a separate cable for my drives, one goe sot primary and the other goes to...

Deal on Cell Phone?

Sprint ROCKS! I have a sprint phone and I pay 40 a month for nationwide 2000 minutes. It's 500 peak and 1500 off peak. I think for like 50 I can get 3000 minutes or something. That's like between 1-2 cents per minute. I love it!:D

Creative DVD conflict w/everything?

I reinstalled 98se three times yesterday and it killed itself three times! Everytime i finished the full installation and finished installing all my drivers except for the creative dvd drive, and then when i put the creative dvd drivers in, it gives me a illegal operation. Then i restart my...
