Upgrade solutions?

I'm looking to upgrade my computer, hoping to get top of the line, or at least close to it. I plan on going the Athlon 64 route, however I noticed the prices are extremely high :( For example the Athlon 64 3700+ is 700 dollars...WTF!!! So is there much difference between the 3700+ and the 3500+...

What to buy?

I'm currently using an Athlon 2000+ processor...looking to upgrade to either an Athlon 64 or P4 3.0ghz+ I mainly play games on this computer. What type of processor would be better for that? And which motherboard would best fit it? Thanks in advance ;)

I have to say...this product is for a techie enthusiast...now that I think of it, I don't really need this :o Returning to amazon.com asap!

When you say component...does that mean the regular red/white/yellow cables? If not...how much do those cables cost for the Xbox?

I was thinking that the RGB cable might be crappy...therefore I get horrible picture? Could that be a possibility?

Viewsonic P95f+ is blurry!

what would you recommend for a gaming monitor? Sony? They're super expensive though...

External TV tuners...

I recently got my Viewsonic NextVision N5 tv tuner and I have to say.....I'm pretty disappointed. I attempted to play Xbox on my monitor and it just turned out horrible. The picture quality looked like I was playing on a playstation 1. I tried all resolutions...and it gets worse at the higher...
