Which OS - XP or Vista

Well, I own legal copies of XP so it's not a big thing. Someone mentioned that you can tell a game to run in either DX9 or DX10 mode, is that true? If so that would remove some of my performance issues as I'll just run in DX9 if I can't handle DX10.

Printed Item Tracking

Hi, I was wondering if there is an software (preferably cheap or free) that would preform some sort of print document tracking. This could be as simple as printing the IP or machine name at the bottom of each page or having a centralized database of what machine / IP printed what. Thanks

Odd Network issue

Patch deployment across a non-AD network

Thanks again for the help. We got a encrypted VB script to work. However now I'm looking for a program that can package EXE's into MSI's.

Thanks for all the suggestions. We already have a WSUS server up and running. However the patch I'm trying to install is not a windows patch. I don't remember reading it and I don't think it can, but can WSUS push other vender patches out to clients as well? Thanks again.

Hard Drive for External Enclosure

Windows 98 install

Rebatemonger - yes, after I've done that, in windows it says for the C drive, 252mb used(approx) and 4,453mb free (approx). Everything but windows 98 seems to see the 20gb HD. I even installed Partition magic 6.0 on there to try and force it to use the extra space, but Partition magic see's...
