If you're using a supported sound card, you could try using the kX project drivers to do what you want to do. It'd be a lot of work though. With my nForce2, I just enabled the 6 speaker output, and the driver automatically took care of duplicating the channels as appropriate. The other...

how do you install hard drives over 137GB?

Actually, you're both right. The 1000 vs 1024 makes some of the difference, but you can't possibly think that formatting the drive doesn't take up space. On larger drives, the MFT takes up a significant amount of space.

POLL: Refresh Rates

1800*1440 @ 90hz right now. I also use 1600*1200 @ 100hz a lot. For games, I use whatever the highest possible resolution is, so refresh is usually 100 (16*12) or 75 (2048*1536).

Since your board doesn't support ATA/133 (according to Epox), I would say no. And a BIOS upgrade will not fix this.

They aren't really comparable. Digital zoom crops and enlarges the picture. Optical zoom changes the field of view, which is basically magnifying. So, if you use 100mm optical and no digital zoom, that would not look the same (in both quality and the actual image itself) as 50mm optical and 2x...

nForce2 ASIO

I wouldn't mind having two sound cards. The only issue this brings up is that when I'm gaming (which I do about as much as working with music), I would want to use the nForce2 sound. AFAIK, most games don't let you choose which sound card to use, so I'd be stuck using whichever one DirectX...

A video Card with 1Gb of RAM, is it possible? You tell me?

NV35 pushed back to fall???

Nvidia has never officially announced anything to the public about the NV35's existence, much less a possible release date. So any date was just speculation. This isn't like NV30, which was/is still delayed after the official paper launch.

Is it true human eye can detect more than 30 fps?

The only refresh rate and frame rate that is fast enough is the one where the discrete images become blurry. From experience with 3d graphics motion blur, I'd say 30fps * 16 would give a decent motion blur approximation. Maybe even as much as 25 times per frame. That's 480 to 750 fps before...

indep. resolutions - yes or no?

That's strange, because my Radeon 9000 Pro has no trouble driving my 21" and 19" at different resolutions on Win2k. I even had one running 2048*1536 @75hz and the other at 1600*1200 @75hz, all on Windows 2000, with Catalyst 2.something drivers.

Manually set the refresh rate on my monitor??

It's possible that the video card doesn't support that res/refresh rate combo. If that's the case, then you're completely out of luck. I wouldn't be surprised with an old card.

BSPlayer should let you choose your own aspect ratio. Can't remember the website, but that's what Google's for :)
