What should i ask for this Christmas?

the Scythe Ninja seems to support only 120 x 25m fans so the panaflo probably wont work for you. Try the ninja linky and pick a 120 x 25mm fan. Check this fan out for a good CFM-price ratio. nother linky

I ordered my func mouse pad through PTS. They're local so I did a willcall. Got a free PTS ballpoint pen for showing up :) It's a small operation, talked shop with the guy for a while and he seems pretty in-the know. edit: so yes they seem reliable

quadruple boot a system

So I need to quadruple boot a system with Win2k3, WinXP, Solaris 10 and Red Hat 9. I haven't done this on my own yet so I'm just trying to get an idea of how i should proceed. I want to put the Windows Oses together on one HD and have Linux and Solaris on their own HDs but if it's not possible...

Settign up my own free/busy server.

Does anyone have any experience setting up theri own "free standing" free/busy server? And when I say "free standing" I mean setting up a fee/busy server that is not attached to some groupware software. I'm trying to set one up for my company and i have a general idea of how i want to...

keep original time/date stamps when importing into OL2003 from Netscape 7.1

I'm working for a client that needs their e-mail exported, with time/date stamps intact from Netscape Mail 7.1 to Outlook 2003. This sounds easy right? First import the mail from Netscape 7.1 to Outlook Express and from Outlook Express to Outlook 2003. Wrong... All his time/date stamps are...

gettign red hat 9 to see my NTFS partition

ok so I have a dual boot system with Red Hat 9 (on a 9 gig drive) and Win Xp (on an 80 gig drive). Is there anyway to mount my NTFS partition so that i can read the files off of it? I mostly want to do this so i can listen to my mp3s while dabbling with Linux :D

so my company wants to use outlook 2002/xp as a scheduler so people can schedule meetings and such while being able to see each other's busy times, free times, etc. Is there any way to do this without using an exchange server or having everyone sign up for a .net user id with no 3rd party apps?

New Folders are created with Read-only attribute

saw that fix but no luck with that workaround.... any other ideas?

I have windows xp and whenever I create a new folder it gets stuck in the read-only attribute. I go into the folder properties and remove the read only attribute but if i go check the attributes again then the read-only attribute is back on again :confused: What is going on??? :| I looked on...

dell dimension 2400 running sluggish

Well I did try turning off all that extra animation stuff..it seems ok now but it really irks me considering there is an identical workstation sitting right next to it, running all the same programs, minus publisher, and its completely fine! but I will still try updating the video drivers and...

dell dimension 2400 running sluggish

I have this fairly new (2 months old) dell dimension 2400. 2.2 ghz p4, 256 ram, win xp pro and it is running kinda funny. When i goto the "start menu" and then "all programs" the menu fades in really slow. Also, it runs a lot of MS office apps at once,so soetimes it might have outlook, word...
