While it will be a much improvement on your current onboard integrated card, for $100 it is a not a good deal. I think the majority of consensus are as such.
I would agree that 7900GS or the 8600GT/S would be more of bang for the buck, you can find those around the $130-$160 range...
Have you ever considered the size? P180 is rather huge comparing with the Sonata III or P150. What is your main goal anyways? I have the P150 and like it. This is my second Antec case (first being the SLK3000) I see no issue with the quailty except for the cable suspension... it...
Check your CPU Heatsink installation. Make sure it has good contact, sporadic reboots are usually an indication of CPU overheating. Also, does it always happen at the same place? if not then this could be it. Those Intel stock heatsink are very unintuitive , after pressing them in, you...
So as it turns out, the P5B board was DOA. The replacement came and POST without any issues. OCZ rep is right, no problem with the memory and P5 series boards from ASUS.

I emailed the guy who wrote this review

Thanks for the thread... I RMA'ed the MB, I hear no beeps what so ever with or without memory.
I'm loosing my confidence in ASUS, I have built 3 systems on ASUS MB over the past years without a hipcup. Let's see if the second MB will be better.

I just put together a system of the following
P5B
E6600
OCZ DDR2 800 4-4-4-15
Leadtek 7950GT
no post.... no video, nothing. Fans did spin tho.
Hi all,
I feel embrassed but I couldn't find any information about how to power my 7950GT card. Its got a 6pin power connector on the edge of the card and comes with a Y cord adapter to connect to the regular power supply plugs.
