Gaming Build

Just started working on a new gaming build for a friend of mine. Just wanting to see if I have any obvious compatibility flaws as I haven't looked at new parts for a while. Any general suggestions regarding part choice/value are also appreciated! Thanks in advance! :)...

Bandwidth limiting

I guess I should have added that it flashed through fine and everything seems to be working. It just says that "WRT54G- Error" as the browser window name. Under Status>Wireless it says Error under Radio. And under "Wireless Packet Info" it says: Transmitted (TX) 794 OK, 1865 errors Any...

Bandwidth limiting

Hmm, I just flashed it to v24, but it says "WRT54G- Error" as the name of the browser window. Is this a problem?

Bandwidth limiting

I need a way to limit bandwidth to other computers on my network, or something that prioritizes the bandwidth to my computer without setting up a proxy server on another computer. My DSL is 1.5mbps down and like 110kbps up, which is garbage, but it's all I have because I live in a small town...

Well, its weird yes but it doesn't help me out any. There has to be a way to fix this... tried reinstalling my sound card drivers, did nothing. Actually started happening after I took my computer to a friends house and brought it back.

For some reason when I'm using TeamSpeak, every now and then (completely randomly) the 20db+ microphone boost in the windows sound manager thing will just click itself off for no real reason. I don't even know until people on TS tell me that they cannot hear me anymore. While playing games I...

Windows freezing during format

PowerMax from Maxtor requires the use of a floppy disk drive which I don't have on this computer :-/... also I wouldn't be RMA'ing it to Maxtor I would be doing it through Newegg, probably for a refund since its within the 15 day period for OEM devices. I don't even know if these open box items...
