Diablo 3 placebo needed

Titan Quest was a cool game, I own it and the expansion. But it was flawed. My problem with it was twofold: It lacked personality. This ranged from the quests and enemies themselves to the equipment to the little things, like the rather bland looking interface buttons/information boxes...

Anyone else remember Ski Free?

I first encountered this game on a Win95 demo computer in a store. Good little game. That was around the time that I played C&C Red Alert and Quake, though, so naturally I had other more "pressing" matters.

Star Wars Galaxies?

I played for a while at launch. The crafting side of things was fantastic, but as it lacked substantial content for the adventurers it was really an incomplete game. Even before the "armageddon" patch (NGE), people were leaving in pretty large numbers.

Blizzard PC Game Bundles on Sale for $30 Shipped Each

I can think of one: LucasArts. Valve aren't quite as bad, but they get pretty good mileage out of their Half-Life games. Nope, eight years. The expansion was released seven years ago, though. Time flies. I'm pretty sure that I saw the Diablo Battle Chest for ~$33 before the sale...

Whats your favourite c&c mission?

I really enjoyed C&C, but the Red Alert missions I remember the most. The later Soviet missions when you get Migs (soften enemy tanks) and the attack helicopters (particularly against enemy artillery units) are really fun to play. I remember using those two air units to chip away at the AI.
