Raid (sata/pata) vs scsi?

Don't have the benches in front of me, and I'm too tired to look them up iirc. However, 15k rpm scsi fastest with 2 10k rpm sata in close tow. Personally I'd go with the sata.

Craziest Hardware Issue Ever

Well, the thing is off to newegg, and I am $8 poorer. (dumb newegg rma) I didn't even think of checking the event log. Great idea though. Should have done that, but afterall, it did only boot into windows for about 3 times. I guess we'll find out in a week if that really was the problem.

HELP! Spontaneous rebooting on new system

Try hitting f8 and going into safe mode, if that doesn't work try error logging. if that doesn't work, try this.

Almost time to upgrade CPU. Why pay extra for 939 and good mobo?

I think you're smart not to waste money on an expensive mobo right now. I'd wait to see what's on sale this friday (black friday). I know their combos are usually insanly low and should be enough to get you by for a while.
