I already have quiet fans. This does not make a difference. It is stupid to spend money on quiet fans, hard drive, power supply, case when my computer will still make noise. I won't be able to hear it 100 feet away. Simple as that. Sure, I could maybe get my computers down to 20db or 18db...

Long KVM cables

I am finding that ps/2 cables don't work past 25 feet. I guess no one really uses kvm cat5 extenders, though they are only about $100 on ebay.

extended kvms

I really like my setup with a dual video 2-port kvm switch, giving each of my computers 2 desktops, but I'd like to move my loud computers far away. I'm looking into a kvm extender. I got 50' coaxial svga cables to work fine, but 50' ps/2 cables won't work at that distance. Maybe I should...

Seagate says that my $40 rebate on a 160GB HD from Fry's Outpost is INVALID. Those jerks. I threw away the box :( I guess i'll call and complain anyway

WARM Seagate 300Gb UATA100 8MB Buffer - $129AR @ Outpost

Sort of off topic, I just checked that the status of the rebate I sent in for a seagate 160GB drive is "INVALID" I sent in the UPC sticker which was on the box. I didn't see any other UPC. I didn't keep copies, so I'm pretty much screwed now. Anyone have any hints for me to get the rebate still?

These tables are a waste of time if you're trying to play with anyone over 3. I knock the puck enough times off the real tables at the arcade.

Logitech MX1000 Laser Cordless Mouse $59.95 at Buy.com

I got one of these mice refurbished at fry's (it was the only one), and it sorta rocked down when i left-clicked, which was really annoying, so I returned it. I am actually finding that my old mx500 logitech does the same thing a little. Is this a problem with logitech mice? I'm afraid to buy...
