I previously learned how to move my outlook [2003] pst to a new location and make a permission to allow a limited user on the machine to access the calendar [they would obviously also be able to access my email etc].
I would like to refine this process a little.

well I did the failsafe: mem timings to 18-6-6-6; mem speed to x2; turned the performance to standard;
turned off EIST and C1E
now booting fine at 9x333
can tweak from this baseline then! AT least I know I have a base to play around from.

ie 667MHz/PC5300?
Currently it is set to Auto [ie by SPD] so sitting at 800MHz.
I read the sticky that 1:1 is best [ie running it 667MHz] but leaving it at 800MHz shouldn't cause any problems should it?

I last did any O/C on my Athlon XP 2500+; as you say the GB BIOS is alot more complex than my old ASUS one and the "self tuning" setup threw me somewhat.

I am logging via my home computer to the work servers. The first time I loaded up that app it asked me for some details [workstation location, which printers I was connected to etc] and right at the end gave that error and ever since I get it as soon as I put my password in so I guess it is...
Whenever I try to remotely log into a particular Java App I get the following error after I enter username and password:
"Login Failed
java.lang.NullPointerException"
How can I work out what the problem is and how do I fix it?

since my OP I have tried to install the Display drivers and failed then followed the hunch and reinstalled the mobo drivers and got it back up to speed....
I am not disputing this might require a reinstall but I don't like that as a knee-jerk reaction and would...
well I uninstalled then reinstalled the nforce drivers and that did most of the trick: GFx card was identified and working properly.

The device Manager is stilled borked; seems the dll that controls it must be hookey.
Anyway to patch that simply?
