Intake or outake fan?

you could make a filter for the fan if you are worried about dust, any material with small pores should do, search online fo options. You will still need to clean this out every copuple weeks or so. Your choice, cleana filter or you system :)

Anyone go lucky with a recent purchase of Winnie 3000+

bought mine from Newegg in January, stable at 2.7GHz (270x10), love the damn hting its sick :)

dump the catalyst control center, ie: uninstall it from your add remove programs control panel.

Sweet, glad it worked man. Heh you'd figure with a basically brand new card they'd have sent new drivers that work with our MBs. Man I keep having issues with nvidia so I switch to ATI then I have issues with them and switch back....heh its a constant struggle :)

I had similar problems, fed up everything, I found that the catalyst center was the issue after uninstalling that, and upgrading the driver only to 5.3 everything is smooth with my Nforce4 Ultra setup.

X800XL Question for all new owners

No worry about straying vcore=1.425 Idle 29C Load 36C Prolly will go up a bit once winter is gone, my apt is at 64F currently and I keep it around 70F durring the summer.

X800XL Question for all new owners

Hey guys finally got my X800XL from ATI yesterday. Its running great but a few questions. 1. Does yours show up as 2 devices under device manager? (I see X800 and X800 secondary) 2. Can you publish 3dmark data? Mine show as unpublishable. Thanks all.

K8N Neo4 Ultra, Audigy2 Issue??!

No luck, seemed to work, but crashed durring stability check and 3dmark 05(much harder on my sys than 01/03). I removed drivers, took the card out, reactivated the ac97 and everything is normal again. :( I am so sad, this blows, audio is so average with the onboard and I lose 200MHz if...

Hey all had my system running great, 270x10 HTT4x Ram 1:1, benched fine, stress tested 72hours no reboots, seemed perfect. Yesterday I decided to install an Audigy2 I got as the built in sound seemed twangy and subpar. Upon reboot seemed normal, then itunes caused a freeze with visualization...

3200+ 90nm duh fergot speed: 270x10=2.7GHz Idle=30C Load=39C Stock HSF Load goes up to 41C if I OC my vid card, guess it adds heat to the system

I love my K8N Neo4 Platium, uh...thread? heh

Just thought I'd share my love of this board and my 3200 winnie with you all. Stable at 270x10 CPU, 540MHz memory at 3-4-4-8 1T, and 270x4HTT. I only had to boost CPU v to 1.45 from stock. My idle is 29C and my load is 39C(41C if my vid card is OCed).
