I guess a bios upgrade would add a agp/pci lock.But the new 648dx version is out , so i would wait till abit or asus to put out a new mob usin above.:)

I was wondering how successful overclocking with a P4S8X was....

Forget about OC bro.asus p4s8x hasn't got agp/pci lock.fsb150 max take a look at the review done by CPU 3D.com and OCworkbench news. :(

abit sr7-8x has agp/pci lock.asus p4s8x doesn't but good features like sata........ OC wise both are not bthat good ....150fsb....but i like abit.

Yes,I agree that a bios revision woudn't do anything regarding stability,fsb,.But cpu,memory,voltage increase would help i think and also other things needed.I also agree with you that this mob is not intended for OC.plus no raid,s-ata,5.1 ch sound,:(

But abit sr7-8x fsb limited to 144mhz so as i said before a bios revision is needed .I am waiting for asus p4s8x to decide what to buy. ;)
