Go buy a cheap laptop with Windows 7 on it as a dedicated EAC machine. Available for under $100. I use a Windows 7 Pro Dell Latitude E4310 with EAC 1.1 & LAME. Cost me all of $50. Not worth much work when $50 solves the problem. Small size and stores easily.
Nope, I was driving out in the desert between Las Vegas and LA. After "communing" with the scrub brush at the side of the freeway for an hour or two I made a pact with myself to starve before eating McDonalds again. The pact has lasted about 40 years so far.

California grows plenty of food as does Washington State. Both of those states grow high value crops like hops, cherries, avocados, wine grapes, salad makings etc. The Midwest farm states grow commodity crops like corn, soybeans etc. Guess who comes out better?
