Have they fixed the "seamless roaming" on the AC units ? Last time I looked into their stuff I know that was broken.

Running patch cables OK?

Cabling a small market (150ft cables)

As drebo stated, better to have all "home runs" and always run at least on more cable than you need. The only diff I would suggest is Cat 6 cable instead of 5e, the cost diff in cable is nothing compared to the labor/aggravation or running it.

Removing Active Directory/Domain Controller from Server 2012?

A better solution for you is to leave the server as is and keep your client machines in a workgroup. You will still have access to all the shares,etc. Client Backup/Restore will still work. Use the skip domain join registry entry...

Retiring my 16 year old old 4000n for an m651dn

Haha! I just replaced a 1998 vintage LJ4000 over the summer with a LaserJet M425dn "all in one" for a user. The LJ4000 was given away in working condition. I'm guessing it will still be working after the M425 is in a landfill. We still have 1 Laserjet 4050 and a Laserjet 8150 in daily...

Can't get to (1) particular website (Company Network)

Do you have a true IPv6 INET connection, or only local link ? I'm wondering if the clients are trying to preferably connect to the v6 site first, and when that fails, it has a cached failure and never tries the v4 addresses.

SysPrep for OS X ?

SysPrep for OS X ?

When I upgrade to a new Ivy Bridge machine, I'd like to donate my old machine to a non-profit. I want to nuke the machine and put it back to raw factory install. No user accounts. Is there any until like "SysPrep" on Windows? Or is there a diff procedure I need to use during re-install?
