I picked up the MP3 player. It rang up at $29.99 (which should be the price after MIR), but a $10 MIR is mentioned on the receipt. I thought I saw the register spit one out, but the cashier didn't give it to me. Any chance I can find a copy online and mail it in?

FREEZING: BB will not PM on the morning of Black Friday

Can someone explain to me how pricematching (or return/rebuy) is screwing the people who wait in line? We all know they only put out 10 (or 5) items for the really hot deals (enough to meet the minimum advertised quantity), so if they sell one the day before they have to replace it for the day...

Is my KT7-Raid dead?

I'm declaring the board dead. I tried a known good PS and it didn't change anything. It's really a shame too because it's a very good board I would have liked to have had it in a spare system when I upgraded the computer.

That is one thing I haven't tried. It's a generic 300W PS, but it's only 14 months old. Still, It's a cheapie. I'll try a different one. Thanks for the suggestions.

Yeah I've cleared it, and tried a new known good video card. The only thing I haven't tried is a new CPU. But because it worked fine while it was flaky and still booting, so I think the CPU is fine. I think with an intermitent problem, like maybe a short somewhere, it would most likely be caused...

B&M Only - $5.99 DVD Bin @ Wal-Mart

I got this disc for $5 on black friday. Besides being a decent movie (the best of the $5 bunch for sure) it's a pretty good DVD too. Two commentary tracks, deleted scenes, ect.

It's the media. The drive can detect crap media and will lower the max writing speed accordingly. Pop in quality 48x media (I like Fujifilm) and it should let you burn at 48x.
