Cisco VPN 4.6 client for Mac OS X

Laptop wont connect at work!!!

It's hard to tell what the problem might be without a little more information. Please let us know what OS is running on the server and the laptop and how the laptop is connecting to the server (e.g. VPN or is it on the same LAN as the server). Also, what OS is installed on the PC's that work and...

it looks like the URL for the connect.asp isn't including the port number for your ISS server. I'm not quite sure why. You might try taking the URL you just posted and adding in the port number for your IIS server and see if that works so it looks something like this...

If you have another computer that you can use, I would take the hard drive from the computer in question and put into another computer as a secondary drive. At this point, you can boot into the OS from the 2nd computer and the drive from the first computer will just be another drive letter. You...

Windows has to install things on the first drive it sees in the system (usually the primary master). As filmmaker said, the answer to your question depends on your setup. If you want to keep your 80gb as your primary drive (maybe you have another OS or something on it), you can use boot manager...

looks like I need a windows server in order install a PC with no cd-rom ?

jimmyhaha: if you can put your hd in another computer and copy the i386 folder from an NT, 2000, or XP installation CD to the HD, then put the HD in the destination computer and boot it from floppy, then yes, you can run winnt.exe from the i386 folder to start the installation. I'm not positive...

I'm just guesing here because I haven't run into that problem, but something you may want to check is go into the control panel and go to Power. Click the Advanced tab and see what is set under the drop down for "When I press the power button on my computer:". It should be set to "Shut Down"...
