6800GS AGP

While the 6800GS is clocked slower at the core, because of the pipes it will out perform a 6600GT. Even a 6800 (vanilla) can out perform a 6600GT. If you want review sites that have a 6600GT while they are reviewing the 6800GS http://www.beyond3d.com/previews/nvidia/68gs/...

@helto Something I forgot to ask. Who's 6800GS are you using? eVGA, XFX, BFG, who ever else? To everyone else I know that RivaTune can unlock the pipes, but can it relock them if I have problems or just want to go back to stock? If not how would I be able to go back to stock or am I...

Something about these scores bothers me. First let me ask, did you happen to run 3DMark05 before unlocking and OC'ing it? Now for why it bothers me. In theory if you unlock it and OC it to 400/1100 then that's the same as a 6800Ultra, right? Tom's Hardware did a round for AGP from Summer '05...

well I tried it and everything seems going pretty well 3DMark 03 score went from 1998 to 2027 Everest memory benchmark results: Single - Dual Read: 1956 - 1992 Write: 739 - 787 So not a big improvement but a bit more Oh and I did make one minor mistake, it's PC2100 ram not PC2700

Router: wireless or wired??

The upside to wireless is that thereis no need for wires The downside is; lower speeds for file sharing between computers on the network and also security I've got 2 wireless access points some where near me that are completely open. And one of them is broadcasting it's name as simpily...

3200 ram on low end MB with 2700 support.

I'm not 100% sure I understand the questions, so this is kind of a guess. If the mobo only supports PC2700 RAM then you can still use the PC3200 RAM but it'll run at 266 rather than 333.

DDR RAM Question
