Future of DDR3 memory?

Is this ging to happen...? Will we be seing some 2000Mhz sticks with 7-7-7-24 settings and similar? Prices started to drop, will there be new inventions?

Thanks Gundam! cleared a few things for me... ;) Does this means also that vDrop will be smaller if I buy better PSU, my plans were Corsair TX 650w... (systemm is light, e7200, one VGA, one HDD)

oh great...I thought it was some manufacturing error... What are the cons of vdrop feature? I also heard that people had negative expiriences when they enabled loadline calibration?

Are these two boards support 1600FSB CPU`s and 1200Mhz memory? I was going to buy Asus P5E, but I heard of vdrop under load and high nb temps! -Can this be fixed with some newer bios, without pencilmod? Is there a voltdrop issue with Asus Maximus Formula (non SE edition)? any...

Memory support

If I put 1gb of DDR 400Mhz module on this board, will it work correctly no problems should occur right?(I know that the speed will be lowered to 266Mhz). Here is the spec from everest: MSi 845 PE Neo

ok, thanks, I saw two, one was InsideHW and pretty short...The other one too...Both stated that monitor has nice performace, but nothing extraordinary, and that price is made high by its design...which is amazing for me. :)

5400 rpm vs 7200 rpm for Laptops

I think you won`t notice the diff...maybe could notice more noise from 7200rpm drive... Well for Vista, and confortable and easy multitasking in XP it would be advisable to have 2gigs.
