Officemax at least in my area has digital concepts memory card readers for $10 - $10MIR = Free.
I picked up one of the SD readers. They are single type memory readers and USB 1.1 not 2.0.
But free is free.
This is while supplies last and I had to ask at the counter for them, they didn't have...
I didn't see any at walmart in Eddystone, PA Store #2830.
Looked all around photo/electronics section and no sign of them or a display for them.
Anybody that can still get these want to ship?
I've heard Sandisk bashed in some reviews/forums but others say they have no problems, YMMV.

I went back to the store with a printout of the deal list from officemax's site. They processed the pricematch as a return and resale of the product. I'm not sure how this will affect the rebates since I already sent in the original UPC and Serial number. But I got my $20 (originally bought...

The sticker on the top of the drive lists verbatim VBT401248A.
There isn't even an FCC ID listed on it. Though I think it is PPQWR1003.
The verbatim on the bezel...
Cool! I just got my online pricematch request back. Approved ;)
Now all I have to do is order it and then e-mail them with my order number.
I requested it monday night after my local store was out.
I think I am going to check another semi-local store tonight.
I called them last night and they...
Just noticed the following:
For the cendyne 48x12x48x CDICD00118
Staples.com $129.99
Officemax.com $79.99 ($109.99 - $30 IR)
For the cendyne 40x12x48x CDICD00117
Staples.com $79.98
Officemax.com $129.99
So it seems staples and officemax have it switched?
The $79.98 would seem to indicate...
I was just at two staples and I found either the VBT321240A or drives with a 12 digit serial and no model number.
Anybody know what the no model number drives are?
And are the Verbatim's rebadged Liteon 32123S or 32125W (overclockable)?
