OT: Help me fix my PC

It's too bad you're against buying used. I got an unlocked 2700xp that does 2.5ghz, 512mb 3200 corsair and and abit NF7-sr2 for $100. :) Im pretty sure you could get a decent socket A board and barton or unlocked xp for $60-$80 if you looked. Iv'e seen nice combos for under $50 once in awhile...

Seti had another unexpected power-outage...

I started seti back in 99 and fought with server outages so I did rc5 then d2ol instead but I've always come back since it was my first DC project. Don't worry though, I'm just moving on to something else.....FaD looks like a worthy cause ;).

ESA 19" Monitor for $50 after rebate @ Circuit City

Thanks for the heads up, I got my hands on 2 of them but so far they arent a hot deal at all imo. I dont know how CC can charge $179 for these things normally, they're pretty much the worst monitors I've ever used and I've used some junk in my days. After driving 75 miles one way to get them...

need a inexpensive case w/ psu, what a good one

Ive always liked enlights for mid ranged systems. Nice solid cases with decent PSU's at a great price.

That psu is made by TTGI, one of the better quality brands out there. Go check out the Hard forums HERE and read the sticky, it's VERY informative. Looks like the 450w with 14cm fan is on sale for $19 450w PSU
