Sick of this ASUS P4B533 OVERVOLTING!

i put it to 1.65, it goes to 1.728 actual. when i run prime it dips down to ~1.66. the overcolt jumper is (NOT) on. this is driving me crazy

Which P4 Can Reach Highest Overclock Speed

the 2.26b gets roughly ~3 ghz. It has a lower multiplier, so higher speeds are within reach

Brand new P4B533-V and no clue, OC'ers -- help.

Intel CPU's cannot change multipliers, therefore to overclock you must raise your fsb. After raising your fsb, your agp bus will actually go faster.

How to Overclock Gigabyte 8IEXP via BIOS??

up the fsb to overclock. press control f1 i believe to enter advanced memory settings. (has to be on main bios screen)

Lastest P4 1.6a batches bad overclockers? Update 2.3ghz and climbing!

i have 5/16 packdate p4 1.6a and ive got it to 2640 on 8iexp.. too chicken to go any further on stock :)

It is not possible to be below ambient. Obviously, one of your probes isnt reporting the correct temperature.

Mobo/Case connector prob

u know the little panel on your mobo where u plug the reset switch, power led, etc into? well on this 8iexp i just got, it has a POWER LED that is only 2 pins long, and a POWER which is 3. my case has a POWER LED that is 3, and a POWER which is 2. all the other ones are fine. also, the pins...
