samsung plasma tv malfunction

I guess a little humor is always important. But seriously though, I feel a board inside is gone. Problem is, I don't know which one. Need some help identifying which one.

Can anyone tell me why my Samsung 42 inch plasma TV has a white vertical bar one quarter of the width of the screen on the left side?

Power supply low voltage 5V rail.

Thanks partner, but have already done that. Was not thinking of reusing it in a computer; really want to convert the thing to a homemade lab bench top power supply. I however need to have the 5V working as well as the other voltages. Thus the reason why I wanted to correct that problem before...

My ULTRA 800W power supply has failed and on my ultra power supply checker I have lost the PG signal. The checker shows all cable plug voltages good though. However on checking with a multimeter I have observed that all of the 5V outputs have dropped to 3.8V. This I think is where my problem...

laptop screen problem

Blackberry bold 9000

Thanks guys, much appreciated. My problem is that I am very much in love with my old Bold 9000 and am hate to give it up but I fear I might just have to do so. Perhaps a cheap used one which I can cannibalize might do the trick. Failing that I shall have to learn to love one of the newer BBs...

crt television question

sometimes when watching TV the screen goes to a small dot or a horizontal line across the centre. If I tap the top of TV the screen shows normal. How can I fix this?
