Best gaming monitor for ~350$?

For regular non-fps games I would highly recommend Dell Ultrasharp U2412M. I've never tried this monitor with FPS games, but people say it's good.

It should. But then we are talking about reducing/turning off some of the gfx setting way down.

P.S. My usage is typical, I guess. One main comp for online gaming (wired), one notebook for wi-fi web surfing/movie watching and one cell phone for web sufring connected via wi-fi.

Is there any way to check power stability in appartment?

Guys, thank you all very much for your help! I just went ahead and bought APC back-ups BX1100CI 650W. Right now I live in a student dorm, where the power supply seems to be good and stable, but in summer I might move to a private appartment complex, and I have no idea how good power supply...

OP, a bit off topic, but do you use any UPS? Your post scares me, but it also makes me feel right about my decision to buy a ups instead of a surge protector :D

Hi, guys, I was wondering is there any way to check how stable the power in a place is? I know if, for example, light dims or gets bright then it means power sagging or overcurrent? Any other more appropriate "scientific" ways? Thank you.
