Honestly the lack of the A-TW polarizer isn't going to change things that much besides the viewing angle and darkness of black. The IPS panel is still excellent at distinguishing tones and staying true to the gamma curve. The A-TW polarizer is a mere extra. While people may frown on the WUXI2...

The NEC LCD2490 as Zebo has said is the best choice but if you absolutely cannot afford this then maybe the HP LP2475w if you can do color management with those programs. It is actually not so bad, as I was enlightened to by a forum member here. You pretty much won't be able to tell.

Very doubtful. The Eye One 2 is perfectly fine and will calibrate already to 3-10x what your eye can differentiate, anyway.
