Found out the problem. Stupid motherboard reads of the SPD to determine max speed. My Corsair is one of the early ones made before JEDEC approve pc3200. So I'm stuck at pc2700 speeds. Time to go find some new ram.

Can anyone help me in getting my corsair xms3200c2 to run at 400mhz? The highest this board can run the ram is at pc2700 speeds even with the ratio at 2:1. I've tried the 1004 and the beta bios with no avail.

get some OCZ EB 3700 platinum . tight timings at 250mhz at 2.9v Mushkin special is just BH6 which requires 3.2+ volts to have it shine.
