Yes, the CPU and RAM is for video editing and encoding. I film bands as a hobby and the faster that I can edit a and encode a mulit-cam 3 hour concert the better. Plus I usually make menus for the DVDs so there is some Photoshop involved as well.

Nope it actually doesn't have the problem in safe mode, but there is no windwos logo screen when you boot into safe mode. It always occurs when posting.
Does this lead you to the problem being something else?
cool thanks confirming my suspicions. Tho i would think I would atleast be able to get into windows and not just loose the signal after the windows logo screen. I can get in via safe mode, strage enough.

How much help could a PCI fan be if haveing the case open and pointing a house fan on high into it didn't solve the problem. I would think alot more air was hitting the card with the house fan.
