What could be the problem?

Okay, it is the keyboard. Once loaded up in windows, I disconnected the keyboard. Everything ran smoothly. Plugged the keyboard back in, still smooth. BUT. Restarted, and it started freezing again. The USB drivers are up to date, and it's only with the keyboard - the mouse works fine...

What could be the problem?

Okay, yesterday I went and removed the overclock. So now it's back to a 2.66Ghz. My idle temps are still about 20-24 degrees celcius. And under full load it doesn't exceed 39 degrees. I loaded the optimized settings in the bios, with the ram using automatic speed selection and it defaulted...

On the fans, the stock ones that came with the case are awesome and very quiet. The antec Tricooler fan I put in was not, and that's running on low settings. Overall though, with all the fans its not bad at all - at least for me. I'm coming from using a XPS M170 as a desktop replacement and...

I did all the updates and installed the virus protection. I'm still flipping through CD's installing games and stuff, and patching/downloading those so I hadn't had a chance to actually play one yet. The 3dMark dl finished first, which is why I ran it. I guess I'm just nervous about leaving...

Thanks. Also, yea I meant the P5k-e. That seems to be kinda pricey ($150) but I've had good experiences with Asus. Any recomendations on changing that? Or am I just overkilling the machine for my needs?
