Re-Use the old CPUs/systems, or get rid of them?

Whenever I upgrade I use my old parts to upgrade the wife's machine or my kids. Wife's current machine is my old? Q9550 and she likes it. Jr is using my old E8400 and games run just fine for him. When the parts get all passed down I build machines to give away to the kids friends if they don't...

Zune dead

Good riddance. I had 2 Zune's die within 6 months. Now have an iPod Touch and an iPhone. Even the new Gen Sony Walkman is better than Zune as far as an MP3 player.

Motherboard randomly died during Prime95...why?

2 mosfets blew on my MSI board with a hexcore running Prime at stock volts. Now running a Gigabyte board with no problems.

AMD Thuban X6 OCing database

It's been a long time since I've been on the forums lol. I picked up a 1090T to play with at Christmas. I haven't clocked it much but I did find that some boards thay say they are compatable with the higher watt Hex core just aren't able to handle it even with updated bios.I'll start clocking...

A little dissappointed in SSDs

Until the prices come down a bit more,I'll stick to my 300gig Velociraptors in RAID0.

OCZ still a good company?

Preferable Q9550 batch

From what Iv'e read those week 35-40 seem to clock well on decent volts.I'll be keeping this one a long time.
