I've got a 3 screen race rig using all 3 DP ports on the 2080ti I'm running. Someone gifted me a Rift S, and it's set up for displayport. I do have an open hdmi port on the card, and I'd prefer to leave the monitors alone while I play around with VR. But apparently A: there's not a huge choice...

I have searched this, now more confused. Up to date win10pro, and a new nas device. It's asking for network credentials, and to my knowledge I've never set any. I have 4 computers on my little home network, and I can access them all without any credentials. And I have up to date security...

Info Confirmation that 'virgin' Win7/8 licences will no longer activate Win10

The first thing they asked for was the key, so since I had it I used it. Because I wanted to take it to pro from home, I purchased a new key for that and activated that afterwards. In fact, on the second install I told it I didn't have a key, and that gave the option to install pro right off...

Question Update fails

Had an older machine with dead boot drive, stuck in a fresh ssd, used the old 7 key on the case to install 10 22H2 (which had already been done previous to drive failure). All worked well until the updates started. Several had no issues, but the last two, KB5012170 and KB5034763, will not...

Just replaced a failed hard drive on an older machine, the 7 home key on the case worked fine to install and authorize fresh 10 home. It may be that since it had already been used way back when to go from 7 to 10 that it was "grandfathered".

Got it. There's really nothing else on this computer, I hadn't had it long, was going to use it for SDR but friend needs a laptop so I grabbed a cheap desktop for my shack. Thanks again for your and everyones' advice.

This one is actually Win 11, but suspect the process won't be that different. It came preinstalled on an older computer bought off ebay, am a little hesitant to wipe it not knowing if the license will remain intact...
