    I think it should work, but it' really impressive to see that you managed to have a 8800GT still alive as this series was flawed (they 'die' prematurely) ; just browse '8800 issues' on google :) (same thing for 8600 series, some 9800 which were just a rebrand of 8800, and mobile 8400/8600....)
