I setup a 2k server and have 3 xp pro workstations joined to the domain.The server has dns setup and is running a.d. Everything works perfectly accept I have extremely slow logins.Any ideas as to what would cause this?I forgot to mesion that i am using dhcp also.It seems as though it might be...

How do I make it so everyone does not see a folder when browsing

When doing that it hides the folder from everyone.Here is an example ofwhat I need to do.Lets say you have a music folder and under this you have rock, soft, country etc. If I am in the rock group I only want to see the rock folder when browsing.If I am a member of rock and country I only want...

How do I make it so everyone does not see a folder when browsing

I shared out a folder on one of our servers,under security I added authenticated users and system and removed everyone. Now only the proper users can access the folder.How do I make it so only authenticated users(for that folder) can see the folder and not everyone when browsing? Thanks a lot, Zip

out of memory errors using boot disk

I have an error that says "Causway error 12:not enough memeory to load application" when using a ghost boot disk.This disk was works fine on 3 of the 5 servers.The other 2 servers have 2 gigs of ram, I think that is the problem.When I type "mem" at the a: prompt here is what I have for memory...
