here goes... AMD Athlon XP 2200+ ECS K7VTA3 Mainboard (VIA KT333) PC2100 DDR 256MB Geforce4 4200ti 128MB

so what would be the minimum upgrade recommended (currently running at 256 memory)? and does this also means that the speed advantage of the cel d 320 (2.4ghz) over the sempron 2400 (1.66ghz) won't make any difference?

Hi, I have a question regarding processor speed. Please point me to the thread if this has been discussed. Anyway, what I'd like to know is, if there's an application running at close to 100% CPU usage on an athlon xp 2200, will upgrading to a celeron d 320 (2.4ghz) or a sempron 2400 (1.66ghz)...

How to kill this IE popups???

Not sure it's been posted here but I'm sure many out there encountered this problem: there's this popup everytime I open IE.. Google popup blocker can't kill it and Spyware Remover can't seem to find the source of the problem other than the cookies that appear everytime the popup shows. Help...

Win XP and RAM

Hi, I'm upgrading to Windows XP, so as required to run UT 2003. Does older games, like UT, Unreal, Tomb Raider run ok on XP? I've read that Myst won't run on XP, as Ubisoft said it's not supported. Any idea? And one more q: will increasing your ram, say from 256 to 512 (video card unchanged)...
