HOT! RUN, DONT WALK. Kansas City Area Best Buys have 1 or 2 BFG 6800GT OC for 399

No way it plays well at 1280x1024 on a gf4-4200. I've played it on a 9800pro and a gf3 (gainward golden sample). It's very playable at 640x480 in low quality on the gf3, and I play at 1024x768 on the 9800pro (both p4-3.2/1GB machines). In my experience, the HardOCP article hit it dead on.

WTF!!!!! 400sc 249$? Dell's site is messin with me!

When my 3.2 was stock, I couldn't hear it from ~2-3ft away. It only has the PSU fan and a large (120mm?) rear, temp-controlled fan, so it's quiet. I assume the 2.8 is on par with it. The catch, however, is the video card. Once you add one with a fan, the noise level rises. So, for HTPC, you...

Don't be mislead. Apple's 'price drop' is deceptive. The 4g's do not come some of the accessories that their same-sized predecessors included - remote, case, and dock (the 40gb does come with the dock). Each of these items sell for $39 each through Apple, so the savings isn't what it seems...

Next (4G) Generation iPod's!! out this week... (price drop)

It'd be great if the battery life claim turns out to be true, but it's too bad the 4g isn't as attractive as the 3g (this is subjective, of course). I don't like the grey/off-white wheel at all; it breaks up the look. It should've been white like the mini's wheel.
