I'd also recommend the new Swiftech MCX-6400-V. I bought it but haven't tested it out, but knowing Swiftech's reputation it should be right up there with the best of them.
Hey everyone, I'm currently looking into building a new hard core gaming rig for myself and wanted some advice on how I should go about it. First, here are some of the things I've decided to put together.
* Asus A8V-Deluxe mobo [will order soon]
* AMD 64 3500+ (socket 939) [will order soon]...
Hey thanks guys for all your advice. I think I'll follow it and keep the DVD-ROM drive in so I can have an extra drive for failures and disc to disc burning. I'm currently building a top of the line new computer and will keep all of you up to date and events. Thanks again!
I have a questions regarding DVD-RW +/- drives. If I recently purchased a Nu Tech 8x DVD +/- RW drive, does that mean that I can get rid of my 16x DVD drive and my 32X CD-RW drive? I'm a bit lost to the new standards of the DVD drives. Thanks.
