Early Vega RX performance doesn't quite deliver upon AMD's hype

did u ever have 1080ti in pc ? i have one and normal temp are 72-75c game go over 80 ,and watt's pc draw 140ish watt with card 430 in game 440-450w i test that cause nvidia reviews say 200w tdp ,so i think my card is broken(ppl tell me that nvidia use low tdp like intel) so temp power is nothing...

i think it's fe vega used in these tests ... amd wont give rx vega for tests before event i stil lhope it wil lsquash all pascal gpus ,and force nvidia to make real new super fast dx12/vulcan gpu

i guess u dont understand that all of these use kepler sm's but kepler is old process full of bugs ,pascal is 16nm volta 12 ,so perf came from sm number and clock fixes and not new cores i read that swiss lab test gp100 vs vp100 cards ,on same clock i think 1ghz same perf minus 1-2% for volta...

xpea ..tests say gp100 vs gv100 core to core ,,they are same so dont know what u read but volta is pascal with moar cores i wish it was dx12 in hw but ,,

yea same cores just more of them ,and more mean 1-3% loss on communicating clock to clock gp vs vg 100

yea but that wont be possible perf/w if they add more cores and they will right now it's 300-400w for ti ,and u add more cores = u get 30% of cores and if u trust pr lies of 12nm it's even ,300-400w for 1.8+ghz

well by nvidia volta is out for like 4 years now :)) i rly hope they will plop out dx12/vulcan hw spec in this gpu , i mean they say volta will be 2014 gpu (dx11) so this is 2018 gpu and all game ind moving to hw vulcan dx12 if it plop out like just another dx11 gpu like pascal ,, huh i will...

tsmc say 1st half of 2018 soc ,second part of year gpu goflo say winter 2017 mid 2018 for cpu/gpu rdy sammy say 2018 7nm 5nm 2019 and dx12 arch ,,volta wont be one ,they tape gpu with same cuda cores ... so if they dont make dx12 arch on 7nm or after volta , rip nvidia

may i ask why ?? it's same gpu like titan ti or dx11 ?? i mean why upgrade from dx11 to dx 11 just a bit faster ?? i will wait 7nm dx12 arch ,before upgrade ,,this volta will be 4th dx11 gpu they sell us

how i read ,fe vega have only full pro drivers ,,gaming ones are demo ,with manny new stuff disabled so rx vega cause nvidia to flush patettic 12nm with only 15% shrink ,will that be good for us who knows ..

i hope never ,it's 600+mm2 hot beast of chip .titan xp take close to 400w in oc mode and wont drop under 80c ,wonder what will double size chip do ..... they need wait 7nm ,,but it's hot now under legs ... striking from intel side and now from amd side is bad
