@ Ultrarebel -- Yes you're correct. You need to have MCSA 2003 for this upgrade. you can still take this exam, you just won't get a credit for it until you're finished with MCSA. Also, check with Microsoft, they should be able to help you.

Relax, the dump is still 100% valid.. I would recommend trying not to get a perfect 1000 so that the dump stays valid as long as possible.

If you want to know the exam fee, you should call Prometric or try to register an exam (do not confirm if want to know the price only). The price is different in every county.
If you are a college student, you pay only 55% of the exam fee, http://prometric.com/Microsoft/default.htm. In this case, you can only call to register and exam code will be 72-680. The contents of the exam are the same with 70 - 680 and it counts forward for your certificate such as MCITP.

Even if they do add a few new questions, its a good idea not to get a perfect 1000 score on the exam. All that does is draw attention to you and Microsoft could flag your account to investigate. Something to think about..
