Passed the test yesterday in Tunis, this dump still 100% valid. I got only 48 questions ! (9 / 19 / 20). used CBT nuggets and server 2008 R2 unleashed (excellent book) as a rference. passed last week deeply studying Bob's dumps (it will be a good preparation for my next test 70-647). oh i forgot something, i just skipped all the questions about Sharepoint and Streaming media, i didn't saw it in the "skill measured" on the microsoft website, so i hope there aren't any questions about that.

maybe when i get bored during christmas, i will post the questions i remembered from the exam.

i take the exam tomorrow, learnt whole week 640/642/643 but so many questions almost 600 together, my head explodes!!

i only had the time to go to all questions just 2 times, and it is not enough to keep them all remembered. I will let you know more tomorrow.

Thanks slick, I'll let you know how it goes. This time round I won't have time to be this thorough but I have a 2nd shot exam option so if it all goes bad tomorrow I'll use your approach for the 2nd attempt.

Here's what worked for me:

Go through the questions in chunks of 25! each chunk should take you ~15mins.

Prestep: using VCE, configure VCE to NOT randomize the questions or the answers.
1) briefly read the last few lines of each question but focus on the answers
2) select your best answer and click show answer, note the correct answer
3) repeat for the next 24 questions
4) Now that you have the answers fresh in your head go back and re-do them, this time you should get most of them, if not, ALL of the 25 correct.

5) repeat this process 22 or 23 more times to do all the questions (584). If you do the math assuming each 25 chunk takes you 15 minutes, you will need apx. 1 hour for 100 questions, so apx 6 hours total. Do 100 questions per day and you will be done in a week.
6) Write down all the question numbers you have troubles with or get wrong twice

7) last step! do this a day before you write your exam! set aside, ~ 1-3 hours to go through all of the questions (or break into half), you should be able to go through most of them pretty quickly because this is the 3rd time you're seeing them! also I would configure VCE to randomize the answers to really test your knowledge.

8) go pass your exam.

Hi all. I'm taking my 70-649 exam on Thursday and I have just been alerted to the fact that this exam, along with others, now include R2 questions.

I felt pretty confident before all this come to light; i have been using Win 2K8 for 12-18 months and have been studying using the MS Training Kits and Transcender practice exams.

TBH, I've not used this dumps before, but I really need to get through the exam with the best chance on Thursday so i've downloaded the 70-640, 70-642/3 files as recommended. Heck there are a lot of questions in there - what is the best approach when using these dumps. Do you really go through all the questions or just go through some.

Any advice on the best strategy to use, is much appreciated.
Once I've taken the exam on Thursday, I will try to provide any feedback I can about the questions.

Its a real bummer the MS have sprung this on us all!!

I agree with Bob, this file on it's own won't get you a pass. Study dumps from the three exams the upgrade covers. I fluked a pass today with this file plus about 1/3 questions from the other dumps, but left my study a bit too late. Remember it has 3 sections to the exam. The lowest mark on any of the three sections is taken as your passing score.

There is no beta question and absolutely no question which were not in the following dumps. You can score 1000/1000/1000 by studying them all.

I posted a dump which contain the 3 dumps but it wasn't been accepted yet. But just download the 3 following dumps, it's exactly the same thing.

It's a lot of questions (about 584), but it work ! Trust me. I passed about 25 hours to study them in 2 days and I don't regret it !

I was able to view the updated demo from the site. Spoke to their live support and they mentioned it just got updated now. They have updated all the MCITP papers.

Called Microsoft and they said there is no R2 content, then I explained about people taking tests and failing and they put me on hold, 15 minutes later said yes there is R2 content, then I explained how some people say the R2 content was removed again and they put me on hold for 10 more minutes then said their not sure anymore and would call me back in an hour. That was 3 hours ago...

I rescheduled this exam once already, and I do not want to reschedule it.

No, there is no latest consolidated dump available for 70-649 ... all the sites that claim to have it are doing false advertisments. I used individual dumps of those 3 exams.

Did you use any dump RD? Has anyone tried "pass4sures"? Their update date is pretty new.

Passed 70-649 today.
70-640 and 70-643 questions were from their respective new dumps .. study them.
For 70-642, there were about 70% questions from its dump.. I suggest CBT for this.

Maybe this one is valid. The exam has changed by nov 11 and this one has been updated by nov 15. The demo doesn't reflet the updated's dump. It has 98qs and the updated dump has 128qs.

Failed. Fail in 70 -642 section. 70-643; 70-640 passed. Only few q from this dump. 70-649 is not an upgrade exam now it is combination of 70 -642; 70-643; 70-640. As I have already commented, I have done the 70-649 last week. Over the weekend I have written down all the questions I could remember and now I have posted them here in the forum. Feel free to comment and add.

I think they are not complete enough for a vce yet but maybe with some community help they will. Others that have done the test could maybe comment if they had the same questions.

Guys, if you read the previous posts we can safely say that the entire exam has changed (except maybe a few questions), by now it has propagated to ALL countries. So unless you have the new questions, stop asking if it is still valid.

Not valid for Hungary,only 3 or 4 questions match . Interesting enough, the real exam contains 2008 R2 questions only, have 70 questions in 3 sections.

I did exam yesterday and it was totally changed what i have studied, this dump is no more valid in Sri Lanka, i got only 3 questions out of this 94 dump questions,

- ? about cluster disk with an problem, one option was putting the disk into "Recovery mode" in cluster manager
- ? about HyperV quorum/witness disk
- ? about command to view License info, one option was slmgr.vbs /ato & /dli
- ? about how to resolve a hostname, options were ping/nslookup/nbtstat
- ? about having multiple FTP sites in IIS
- ? about tracking down slowness issues on a TS, options were to run a command by or perfmon by, process/processor/session TS
- ? about firewall exceptions for 'something' answer was like ICMPv6 request/reply packets

An awful lot of DA, LDS, RD (used to be TS) and RODC and AD Federation. Lots of command line stuff, but no PowerShell.

You really need to know which tools is used for what. For example in LDS they were asking, which tool to use for creating an OU, which tool to create a partition and so on.

I did the test today and failed. 70 questions (25,25,20). 1 hour each for the sections with 25 Qs, 50 minutes for the section with 20 Qs. There was enough time, no SIMs, just multiple choice. Failed with 870/740/650. Unfortunately, if you fail one, you fail all.

Not valid in Spain, 70q, 3 parts, 25/20/25q. Very hard test. I failed.

Took it today and failed in the US. Got over 700 on the 640 section and over 700 on the 642 section but only 550 on the 643 section. If you fail one section, you fail the entire exam, as it was stated on my result printout.
