NIB with a 3yr warranty provides some real value. I'd like to know where those were hiding.

Looking at 3050 level of performance for $110, that's the right price for 3050 level of performance.

Going to take more power and not provide some of the same ancillary features, but this is basically the best NIB deal at this price point if you're looking to game.

I had to bite on this. It's a real 5600xt with a backplate. AMD stopped updating drivers for my beloved HD 7950. This means I can no longer gloat about getting over 100fps on CSGO because CS2 requires a driver update. That PC is on a re-purposed Intel 7600K with a 1080p 144hz Dell 27",

If anybody else grabs one of these. Make sure you update the vbios from ASROCK to the 14gbps memory bios.

1080p gaming only right ? 6gb vram.
In newer really demanding games, yes. Some you will still have to turn down settings even at 1080 to keep from running out of vram. But the other 99.99% of PC games will run great. Many at 1440 or 4K maxed out. For $110 NIB the competition in the price range is 4GB cards like the RX 6400, 6500XT, GTX 1050ti, 1650, and the 6GB ARC A380. All of which it is much faster than.

How safe is doing that? Link to the procedure? Will the RAM chips run too hot?
AMD freaked out when Nvidia released the 2060. It was too close to launch for AMD to upgrade the GPU bios. So they released a new bios for people to flash. That increased the base GPU clock and voltage as well as bumping the GDDR6 memory up in speed and voltage. Stock was 12gbps bumped to 14gbps memory bandwidth. The GPU stock uses 150w and with the bios update the GPU uses 160w.

Memory is much easier to OC than the GPU itself. GDDR6 memory is magical when it comes to ocing performance. The XT cards are already maxed out on the GPU core clock. But there always seems to be room to increase the memory speeds. GDDR6 memory is magical when it comes to boosting performance.

The GPU has been $109 before but it disappears for months at a time.

The vbios update is on the ASROCK website. https://www.asrock.com/Graphics-Card/AMD/Radeon RX 5600 XT Challenger D 6G OC/#BIOS

Nice find. AFAIK, the Newegg listing is wrong. I don't think there ever was an RX 5600, just the RX 5600 XT.

So Newegg has tons of unsold GPU stock in their warehouses.

I just saw a listing on eBay for new Radeon Pro VII from Estonia. Claiming it comes direct from AMD warehouse.

$100 is the new $20.

Price point is ripe for the picking if any retailers/manufacturers want to move stuff quick.

I can't believe the asking prices for a lot of this two gen old stuff second hand on ebay, this thing is the screaming deal of the century for entry level gaming.

The RX 5600XT was a bit of an undervalued card, probably not the least bit because it only had 6GB of VRAM. Still, for 1080P, it's a pretty power-house card. It could even handle 1440P for several-year-old games.

Power draw was kind of high, too.

I grabbed one. My game catalog is mostly older games with a few newer games so don't really need a powerful gaming card.

If you start to check out and pretend to leave your cart, it might offer you a free Patriot 64Gb SD card as a bonus. Don't remember if it was the final checkout page or not. I clicked on the Newegg logo at the top left and gave me the offer.

Edit: added screenshot

I grabbed one too. 1080p is perfectly fine for gaming. My grand kids wont know the difference. Youtube comparisons show these cards as fast as GTX 1080s and RTX 2060s. No brainer at $116 shipped with tax.

I am curious as to before and after benchmarks with the bios update.

Mine arrived today and came in a generic brown box labeled just a RX5600. So it appears not to be a retail RX5600 XT.

It's still a big upgrade for me so might keep for the price. Anyone else receive yet?

- Any Pics and/or GPU-Z specs you can post?

Can you please do a Unigine Superposition run with High or Extreme textures at 1080p?
The machine I have now is a potato. I have the parts for another system but will be a couple weeks until I put together.

I could install in my potato to get a GPU-Z screenshot. Maybe later tonight.

Edit: I just noticed on the Newegg site they removed the retail box pictures.
